iiyama · ISE 2026 · Gamescom 2026
Every visitor.
Inside the brand.
Most brands start by looking for an AI photo booth. iiyama wanted more than a photo. It wanted visitors to leave with a piece of the brand. At ISE 2026 in Barcelona we worked the iiyama logo into every scene, from a sheriff's star to a pirate flag. At Gamescom 2026 in Cologne we went one step further and opened the door to G-Master, iiyama's gaming universe, so fans could stand shoulder to shoulder with its heroes.
A photo goes in. About seventeen seconds later, the visitor comes out as part of the brand story. At ISE alone, that happened 662 times in four days.
Their world. Our experience.
iiyama brought the brand and its heroes. We built the way in. Visitors brought the most important part: themselves.
Four days. 662 transformations.
At ISE 2026 the experience lived on the iiyama stand, on a large-format iiyama touch monitor with Android. The start screen made a simple promise: one face, a whole multiverse of characters. Visitors became 1970s football stars, pirates, cowboys, kung fu masters, comic book superheroes, 1920s gangsters, glam rock musicians or cartoon versions of themselves on the ISE floor.
And in every scene, the brand had a part to play. A crest on the football shirt. A badge on the superhero's chest. A pin on the gangster's lapel. A T-shirt on the guitarist. The sheriff's star. The pirate flag. The name board in the mugshot.
Take a photo. Pick a character. Scan the QR code. That was the whole manual. iiyama's team looked after the stand, but the flow was simple enough that visitors also used it on their own.
About 17 seconds from photo to finished result. 96% of sessions ended with a finished result.
On a trade fair floor, attention is short and queues are long. Speed keeps the line moving. Reliability means nobody waits for nothing.
Step into the Game.
At Gamescom 2026 iiyama introduced a new generation of G-Master characters. We gave fans a way to meet them, or at least to get into the picture: Red Eagle, Black Hawk, Gold Phoenix and Titan Falcon, each ready for a photo.
Four heroes. Five ways in.
Then the still images came to life as short clips of about three seconds.
The start screen carried the name, G-Master AI_Experience, and one invitation: step into the game. The result screen added another: share your picture with the G-Master clan on Instagram or Facebook, tag @iiyamagmaster and collect a small gift from the admins. Visitors did. Dozens of posts featuring the stand appeared during the fair.
Why would I need this? Nine answers.
Sooner or later every client asks the same question. A queue at the stand is only the first answer. Here are the rest.
Stop the aisle.
Trade fair visitors walk past stand after stand. A screen that turns them into a hero makes them stop, and a queue makes the next ones curious.
Reach beyond the hall.
Every result leaves the stand on a visitor’s phone, with the brand inside the picture. At Gamescom that meant dozens of posts during the fair alone.
Count what used to be a guess.
Every session is a data point: how many people took part, which styles they chose, how many finished. At ISE that meant 662 transformations and 96% completed sessions, counted, not estimated.
Trade a picture for a lead.
The download page can ask for an email address and a marketing consent, in line with GDPR. The visitor gets the picture. The brand gets a warm contact who has already had a good time with it.
Put the product in the picture.
The experience can run on the product itself, as it did on iiyama’s touch monitors, and the product can appear inside the scene. Visitors try it before anyone pitches it.
Turn a choice into a recommendation.
A style or a short question on screen can lead to a product recommendation. And the choices visitors make tell the brand what its audience likes.
Be the brand a step ahead.
A brand that invites people into its world looks confident and current. With brand-true results and clear AI labels, it also looks trustworthy.
Stay on their phone. And on their mind.
People keep photos of moments they enjoyed. A picture with Red Eagle or as an iiyama FC star stays on the phone long after the fair, and so does the brand.
Hand the sales team an opener.
A queue is a conversation waiting to happen. While visitors wait for their result, the stand team has a natural reason to talk.
AI for the experience. People for the brand.
The new G-Master characters were designed entirely by people. No shortcuts and no generative AI. That story has its own case study.
AI_Experience did not touch that work. It treated the official character designs as the only reference for how the heroes look. AI had one job: to open the door to a world that people had drawn, and let visitors walk in.
AI where it creates the experience. People where the brand is made.
The art stayed human. The experience was open to everyone.
True to the brand. Every face in frame.
Compliant. By design.
AI_Experience plays by the rules from the first photo. It complies with GDPR and with the EU AI Act, the newest EU law on artificial intelligence. Since Article 50 of the AI Act began to apply on 2 August 2026, every result carries a visible label that marks it as AI-generated.
For the brand, that is one less thing to worry about before the fair. Visitors know what they are looking at, and the label travels with every shared image.
Same skills. More places.
None of this is tied to a trade fair stand. Behind AI_Experience sit skills that work wherever a brand speaks: content that stays true to the brand, AI processes that are fast and dependable, full compliance with the law, and a person who approves the result. Brands can put them to work in content and communication, in tools for their customers and in how they show up in AI search. If that sounds like your next question, let's talk. INFINI8.AI, our program for bringing AI into business, is a good place to start.
